About

Much more than a degree.
MSU delivers quality academic programs. Nearly 100 degree programs are available on the 2-year, 4-year
and graduate levels. We are ranked as one of the top public universities in the South by U.S.News & World
Report.

Much more to do.
With more than 100 clubs and organizations, MSU offers much more for you to get involved in as a
student. Nearby, you'll find Cave Run Lake where you can hike, fish, boat, swim and enjoy the beauty of
the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Much more affordable.
90% of our students receive financial aid. We are committed to keeping a quality, higher education
affordable to our students, both in-state and out-of-state.

Much more personal.
At MSU, you are more than just a number. We're friendly and down-to-earth; faculty and staff know
students by name. Our average class size is 19 students.
